These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the 1M1S Express mobile applications, website and ride-hailing services (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. The service

1M1S Express is a technology platform that connects riders seeking transportation with independent drivers in Sefwi, Western Region of Ghana. We do not provide transportation services ourselves; transportation is provided by independent drivers who are not employees of 1M1S Express.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. By using the Services you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it up to date.
Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Rides and bookings

You may request a ride instantly or schedule one in advance, subject to driver availability.
Trip details, including estimated fare and route, are shown before you confirm where available.
We strive for accurate ETAs and availability but do not guarantee that a driver will always be available.

5. Fares and payment

Fares are calculated based on factors such as distance, time and demand, and are shown in the app.
You may pay by cash or mobile money (MOMO), or other methods we make available.
You agree to pay all fares and applicable charges for trips taken under your account.
Certain promotions, discounts or fees may apply and are subject to their own terms.

6. Cancellations

You may cancel a ride request through the app. Cancellation fees may apply where a driver has already been dispatched or has arrived, as described in the app at the time of cancellation.

7. User conduct

When using the Services, you agree not to:

Use the Services for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose.
Harass, threaten or endanger drivers, other riders or any third party.
Damage vehicles or property, or carry illegal items.
Interfere with, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Services.
Misuse promotional offers or create accounts through unauthorised means.

8. Drivers

Drivers using the Services are independent contractors responsible for complying with applicable laws, holding valid licences and insurance, and operating roadworthy vehicles. Additional terms may apply to drivers, which they accept when registering to drive with 1M1S Express.

9. Ratings and feedback

Riders and drivers may rate and review each other. Ratings help maintain quality and safety. We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive or violates these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any driver or trip will meet your expectations.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 1M1S Express and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for the conduct of any driver, rider or third party, arising from your use of the Services.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 1M1S Express, its affiliates and their personnel from any claims, damages or expenses arising out of your use of the Services or your breach of these Terms.

13. Intellectual property

The Services, including all software, branding, logos and content, are owned by 1M1S Express or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute them without permission.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if you breach these Terms, create risk or possible legal exposure, or if we discontinue the Services. You may stop using the Services at any time.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Ghana.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
